American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) ha annunciato di aver siglato un contratto con il AMA Supercross Champion, Chad Reed, che lega le parti e porterà l’australiano a correre con il team Rockstar Makita Suzuki factory per il 2009. Reed correrà il Supercross e qualche altro evento negli USA, tutto il Supercross in Australia sulla Suzuki EFI RM-Z450.
Il debutto agli US Open di Las Vegas il 10 ottobre.
